With the launch of the next generation of Google Analytics, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google has changed the way we create properties in GA. When creating an account or a property, GA4 will be the default one. In this article, we will show you how to create a Universal Analytics (GA3 – not an official term though, but we started to use this) property.
This article would help you with the below questions;
- How can I create a Universal Analytics property in GA4?
- My Google Analytics interface is changed. How can I get my old view?

Step 01
Login to your Google Analytics account & click on Admin (gear icon). And then click on Create Property button
Step 02
Give a name for your new property under the Property details sections. Now click on Show advanced options. This is your unlock key to create a Universal Analytics property 😀
Step 03
Now you’ll below toggle “Create a Universal Analytics property”. Turn this on.
Step 04
Now you have the choice to create either a Universal Analytics property alone or create both UA & GA4 properties together.
